FAQ

Why shop at Honeycomb?

We're a small, locally-owned dispensary in Langford. Our budtenders know the menu cold, the selection is curated rather than padded, and prices are fair. That's the whole pitch.

Where is Honeycomb Cannabis located?

We're at 2317 Millstream Rd #107 in Langford, BC (Greater Victoria), and we serve the surrounding communities including Colwood and Victoria.

What are your store hours?

Monday to Wednesday 9:00am–9:00pm, Thursday to Saturday 9:00am–10:00pm, and Sunday 9:00am–8:00pm.

Do you offer delivery or pickup?

Both. Order through our online menu for local delivery, or schedule an in-store pickup at the Langford shop — whichever suits your day.

Do I need to be 19 to shop at Honeycomb?

Yes. You must be 19 or older — the legal age in British Columbia — with valid government-issued ID to enter the store or purchase cannabis. We check, every time.

What payment methods do you accept?

Cash, credit card, and debit card.

THC vs CBD — what's the difference?

THC gets you high. CBD doesn't — people use it for relaxation, pain, and sleep. Most products list both. A higher THC:CBD ratio means a stronger psychoactive effect; a higher CBD:THC ratio means a calmer one.

How do I pick a strain for the effect I want?

Sativas tend to lean energizing, indicas relaxing, hybrids somewhere in between — but terpenes drive the feel more than the label. Tell a budtender what you want out of the night and they'll point you to it.

What do I need to know before trying edibles?

Start at 2.5–5 mg of THC and wait two hours before taking more. Edibles hit slower and last longer than smoking — most people who have a bad time took a second dose too early. Store them out of reach of kids and pets.

How should I store cannabis?

Glass jar, sealed, cool and dark. Light and heat are the real killers. Humidity packs at 58–62% keep flower from drying out. Edibles and oils — check the label for fridge or shelf, and respect the expiry.

What are concentrates and how do I use them?

Concentrates — shatter, wax, rosin, oil — are stripped-down extracts, far stronger than flower. They're dabbed on a rig, vaporized, or sprinkled into a joint. Take a smaller hit than you think you need; the potency is the whole point.

How do topicals work?

Creams, balms, and lotions infused with THC or CBD. You rub them on the spot you want to treat — sore back, stiff knee — and they work locally without getting you high. Look at the cannabinoid mix and whatever else the formula brings (menthol, arnica, etc.).

Which strain matches the night I'm planning?

Working or creating: lean sativa. Winding down or sleeping: lean indica. Going out with friends: hybrid. Match the strength to your tolerance and the time you have — that matters more than the label on the jar.
